Frequently asked questions
Can we keep our existing telephone numbers?
In many cases, yes. Number porting depends on the existing number type, provider and porting rules. We will confirm what can be moved before the migration is scheduled.
Do we need fibre for VoIP?
VoIP needs stable IP connectivity, but it does not have to be fibre in every case. We assess the connection quality, capacity and resilience before recommending the voice design.
Can staff use the system when working remotely?
Supported hosted-PBX solutions can provide remote extensions or softphone options. The final feature set depends on the voice platform and security requirements selected.
Can we set up departments and call queues?
Yes. Call flows can be designed around reception, sales, accounts, support and other teams using menus, groups, queues and routing rules where supported.
