Wireless

Flexible business connectivity without waiting for fibre.

Fibre is not always available when or where a business needs it. ISP COZA wireless solutions can provide a practical primary connection, a rapid-deployment option, or an independent backup path for sites where business continuity matters.

Wireless built around your requirements.

Wireless is particularly useful for new premises, temporary locations, fibre-constrained sites and businesses that want a secondary connection using a different access method. Every installation is subject to coverage, line-of-sight and site feasibility.

WHAT WE CAN PROVIDE

  • Fixed wireless internet where coverage and feasibility allow.
  • Point-to-point and site-to-site wireless links where technically suitable.
  • Wireless backup connectivity for an existing fibre service.
  • Rapid-deployment connectivity for new or temporary sites.
  • Managed router and automatic failover options.
  • Static IP options where supported by the selected service.
  • Site survey, signal assessment and installation planning.
  • Integration with firewalls, SD-WAN or multi-WAN designs.

BUSINESS BENEFITS

  • A connectivity option for sites where fibre is not yet available.
  • Can provide a separate access method for backup connectivity.
  • Faster deployment may be possible in suitable coverage areas.
  • Useful for business continuity, temporary offices and project sites.
  • Can be managed together with fibre and firewall services as one solution.

HOW WE APPROACH IT

  1. We confirm the location, service requirement and whether wireless is primary or backup.
  2. Coverage and technical feasibility are assessed.
  3. Where necessary, a site survey or line-of-sight check is completed.
  4. The most suitable equipment and service are proposed.
  5. Installation, failover behaviour and monitoring are tested before handover.

Frequently asked questions

Is wireless as reliable as fibre?
It depends on the application, technology, site and radio path. A properly designed fixed-wireless service can be an excellent business solution, but fibre and wireless have different characteristics. We will recommend the best fit for the site.

Can wireless be used only as a backup?
Yes. This is one of the strongest use cases for business wireless. It can provide an alternative access method if the primary fibre service is unavailable, subject to the final network design.

Do you need line of sight?
Some wireless technologies require clear line of sight while others have different coverage requirements. Feasibility is assessed for each location.

Can failover happen automatically?
Yes, when the router or firewall is configured for multi-WAN or failover. The exact behaviour is designed according to the services and equipment used.
